Abney Park

Once again, I have taken my time updating. I dunno why it seems like such a difficult thing to do, aha
I went to see Abney Park with my friend. When she invited me, I didn't know much of anything of the group nor is was it the kind of music I had found myself listening to before but after looking up their songs I thought they were cool and when the day came, it was a great experience and I had fun! It was my first gig ever too.

Before I go into the 23rd (Abney Park) here are a few random pictures from before

I was trying on cute glasses at some point in Boots. I love the way some glasses look and sometimes find my self almost wishing my eyesight was a bit poor so I had an excuse to wear them. Ridiiculous.
These glasses were neeat.
Birthday card from grandparents. :D <3
Aoi being cute.
I also ordered these again in pink but the zipper was damaged! The seller sent me another pair though so it's all cool. Hopefully they will arrive soon.

Stocked up on some lashes.

These are pretty! From Necrosarium. I also ordered something else but I can't show it on here as it was a present.

These tights are, or rather, were SO cool. Sadly the print wore off in just a few wears. Most of the print is gone by now.
Before my tights wore out like mad, I went and bought these anyway. It's gonna suck when the same thing happens to them. My legs were too fat for these tights too. They aren't snug.

Anyway, onto the 23rd. I woke up early to get read to travel to Flitwick to meet my friend, Charmaine, who I was going with. This is what I looked like:

Yeah, the corset is on a bit wonky. I ended up taking it off at my friend's because I could foresee the discomfort and boy am I glad I did. I was also unsure of whether I actually liked it on the JSK.

Picture courtesy of my friend, Ben.

I ended up missing the first train but the next one came soon enough so it was alright.
I don't have a whole picture of Charmaine but she had a steampunk-themed outfit which was awesome especially as some of it was handmade.

We had a couple of hours to waste before the gig started so we wasted some time in London, what we did first was go to Yo!Sushi. Oh gosssh. There was a special offer going with all the plates on the conveyor belt were £2.40. Everything was SO delicious. That Yo!Sushi is better than the one in Milton Keynes in my opinion.

This was probably my favourite and I can't even remember what it's called! Waa, my mouth is watering.
Some yummy gyoza

This was just beautiful and I don't even know what it's called. I am not sure what the green things on the rice are. Inside it is prawn tempura. GGhhh, so delicious.
Ahh, chicken katsu. <3

I also had some dorayaki with raspberry sauce. It was beautiful.

We also went to Cybercandy where I found they had some Finnish sweets. This is not all I bought. I bought a bunch of sour sweets for my siblings and a bit of salty liqourice for my mum.

We saw this on the way to Cybercandy. I am mature.
A poor picture I took of us at the venue, waiting for the opening act to come on stage.

Professor Elemental.

First was Professor Elemental. He was funny and I really like how he got the audience involved. Great fun.

They were picked from the audience the perform a few tasks to determine which one of them was most suitable to be the Professor's butler.

The winner got the monkey mask while the rest wore a mask with the Queen's face on it.

Then they danced while the Professor performed.

I can't remember what these guys were called but they were alright.

The lady on the left was cool. She played the harp, the clarinet and the spoons. She made cool beats with spoons, haha.

Then the stupidest thing happened, my phone ran out of juice. RIGHT before Abney Park came on. SO stupid. Luckily my friend took pictures, so the following are by her.

He was so cool.

His hat and violin were AMAZING.
All in all they were all SO cool and I was surprised to know quite a few of the songs they played. I really loved the performance. They sounded and looked great. Their instruments were pretty damn awesome looking too.

After the show me and Charmaine bought their poster and got all of their signatures. They were so nice! We even got a picture with Captain Robert.

Charmaine is cute and look at her top. It's badass.
Afterwards, Charmaine collected a bolero type jacket she purchased from a seller prior (it was awesome btw) and we travelled to hers and slept. I slept like a baby, I was so tired.
The next morning it was my birthday and she got me these:

All my smiles, brahs

She also got me the tickets for the show!
I think, this event meant a little more than it may appear to everyone else. The reasons we both should have gone and did, were similiar and it was a little more than just going to a steampunk gig, to me anyway. I am happy we went and I am greatful to her for everything. It was also nice to do something with someone with similiar amounts of interest in expression of self through fashion. We both really looked forward to dressing up. :D I think she gets the effort I may put into my appearance, instead of questioning it as well as having a similiar kind of attitude. Even if we may wish to wear different kind of things. (although a lot of tastes, I've found, we match in)This would sound so silly to some people but I really don't know people like that, that I get to hang with frequently.
I do wish I knew more people like that, that I could dress up all cute with. First world problemos ;_;

I was going to move onto more of my actual birthday but this is running too long so I will make another update on that. H-hopefully soon... heh.
Bye

Heipparallaa

I've spent quite a bit of money again.
I watched my friend play some of this. My body is ready for that sexy, sexy Kaine. I'm not playing this for awhile though.

I've had some pretty goddamn low times since my last post. I'm ashamed of some things. I've tried to help myself, how these attempts have gone... well, let's not talk about it. I've also gained weight. Ahh... poop. Trying to-TRYING to- watch what I eat. Strangely enough, my appetite is lacking as of past couple of days, whether this is a connection to something else, I don't know. It's not gonna last though. I will always have a mad appetite, it must be temporary.

This shit was yummy. There was barely anything in the Boston Baked Beans though. I'm yet to try the Kool-Aid. Soon.

My friend and I watched 'The Inkeepers'. It was pretty freaking stupid. To the point that I forced my friend to keep the DVD. Haha. It's about this hotel that's closing down, so for the last week that it's running, or so, these two people live in the hotel whilst working there. One of them is supposedly some ghost hunter, or claims to be and is into all that shit, so they try and get a response from the ghost of a woman that died or was killed there. Stupid Disney-esque music everywhere. And an ending that just left me asking 'wat?'. We ate Pizza that day. I think that was around the time we were just eating a bunch of shit and I gaine so much weight. God knows how many pints of icecream we had during our 3 day sleepover party/experience or whatever.

Then on another day, we watched Grave Encounters. Out of the three horror/psychology films we've watched in the past weeks, this one was the best. It wasn't the best in the universe but definitely miles better than the other two. It's footage shot by these people for a show called Grave Encounters and they go to a 'haunted' old asylum for the mentally sick where the patients weren't treated very well since it was around a time when mental illness wasn't something that was understood enough with corresponding treatment to match or something like that. It's pretty evident that the people shooting the footage themselves don't believe in this shit but once they go in and it gets dark, mad shit starts happening. This character T.C is pretty funny in it. The acting isn't butt-retarded either.

This film pretty much had a smiliar concept as the one above except it was a bunch of idiots doing it for some school project. This film is so, so bad. My friend actually paid money for this thing. The cover is so misleading and pretty much the only thing that's okay about this. Nothing that is on the cover, appears in the film. No axe weilding ghost woman, and no aged house as seen on the cover. It was so bad, aaahhaha :'D My friend looked for a wikipage for it and it doesn't even have one. It also had no reviews on the back but on the internet my friend saw it had one star. I guess it's alright if you want something to laugh at. It made us mostly depressed though.

Here is a picture of a burger we made whilst being fat.
They were bautiful. ;w; The picture is blurry because I just wanted to eat it immediately. We ate two.
Really simple outfit I had at some point. I can't even remember when this was taken.
I tried a twinkie. They are yummy but not exceptionally. You can tell you're eating a roll of diabetes just by looking at the wrapper that's coated in oily grease shit.
Me and Julia playing Warriors Orochi 2.
Sexy graze box. Sadly I wasn't as excited about it due to having killer cramps and my appetite started going weird. Usually I want to eat everything when the red wave strikes.
I was buying stuff that added up £3.50 but needed to spend at least £4 to pay by card. So in my spaghettiness I went and picked an item worth £4 instead of something cheaper. To be fair, I was eyeing it up earlier.

Guhhhh, the day before yesterday we went to see The Dark Knight Rises.
It was wonderful. ;~;

Before that we went to the petstore again just to ogle(well not really but you get me) at cute little furry/scaly creatures.

There were three of these guys and each one looked like they were judging us and looking down on us.

In all pictures I take, she always seems to be cleaning herself or sleeping.

Demon

When I try doing something different with my makeup I always tend to think 'Ahh, but I think I prefer gal makeup better...' I don't seem to do anything else with my face anymore and haven't for a long time. I just really love how gal make looks.
Speaking of meiku, I can not wait until my lashes arrive. I've survived on three pairs of top lashes for an entire year. It's time to lay them to rest.
Not long until my birthday, I am trying to ignore it but it's pretty difficult because it keeps getting brought up. I can't really avoid it but thinking about it is... abloo bloo, it's complicated.
